SCARY!

Check it. I was looking for a random song to play at my friends birthday party tomorrow, so I searched for the song with an ID number of 2792, cause his birthday is 2/7/92.

And it turns out to be happy birthday..........

How Scary is that?

Not sure what to think

This is a really intesting idea for a song, but there were many things that took away from it's quality. Firstly, let me compliment you on the authentic sounds of the instruments, well done.

A couple of things to note. The notes were generally flat, and some of them were just completly bad-sounding. It almost hurts to listen to the flute screech. Also, the flute in the beginning has an unbearable crunchy noise.

Later on in the song, you change the melody completly and throw in a modern beat. That distracted from the original intent of the song.

Sorry mate, but I think you would have been better off with just the second half of the song. I'd be interested to hear the second half developed a little more.

Hmm... Making a song out of the second half, eh? Maybe I will at some point.
I also thought that the modern beat might ruin it, but it came as an impulse so I left it in cause it sounded fun.
I don't really know how to write melodies, I made this one with the keyboard and honestly thought it sounded fine, but I guess you hear it differently if you're experienced at music making.
If you're referring to the high pitch notes then I get what you mean but I wouldn't know how to make it better.
Also I thought I'd make a secondary melody that would play at the same time with the main one but didn't know how to do that.
As for the crunchiness of the flute I only used the presets and I pretty much think that's what an Indian flute sounds like.

Well laid out

Starting off with a nice bass was a good choice for this song, the piano melted nicely into the mix. The melody however, is slightly lacking. It sounds like the melody from "I love Lucy". Thats is fine, but I don't know how that really works for this song.

The drums were a little too, hippityhoppity for this song, but that could be just my taste, I don't know. All in all, this was a well-laid out track, minus 2 stars for bad EQ on the bass.

I was gon start the piano first but good thing i didn't right. The melody for the hook comes from that show you can blame my Aunt for getting the tune in my head lol but i thought it went with it...."All For U" is what it sounds like it's saying.

I think it's just you...about the drums lol. Thanks for the comments man just tryna be real good and if you could PM me tips or what not about the bad EQ on the bass that'll be tight.
